Top Fuel isn’t the Only Class Leah Pritchett Will Be Driving in This Year

Top Fuel power house Leah Pritchett is looking to have a busy schedule this season, racing full Top Fuel and Factory Stock Showdown schedules. Last season she had only run two races in the Factory Stock Showdown (FS/A), but that was enough to motivate her to run a full season this year.

Other than her Don Schumacher Racing-prepped, Dodge//SRT NHRA Top Fuel Dragster, Pritchett will be piloting a supercharged 354 ci-powered Mopar Dodge Challenger Drag Pak. NHRA Stock Eliminator World Champion Kevin Helms will crew chief for Pritchett’s FS/A effort .

“To have a three-time World Champion Sportsman racer like Kevin Helms (as crew chief) is definitely an ace in my pocket, and I’m just being a student of his. We have had a pretty good off-season of development. The test sessions we’ve had, I never experienced a crew chief that was a driver and tuner before, so the dynamic is very exciting and compelling to me. Kevin is definitely a very large asset to the program, which gives me a ton of confidence.”

No racecar can be complete without a livery. Dodge//SRT have teamed up with Hoonigan to bring two visual packages to the table for the fans to pick. If you head over to www.hoonigan.com/LP you can cast your vote for your favorite look. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on February 8.
